And since there are 300 of you, I decided to cut a little extra, and have a giveaway.
Here are 13 fat-eighths(ish).
Thirteen of them because it makes a baker's dozen, and my friend Erika likes Baker's dozens. :)
Oh, and I finally decided on my bee blocks.
My fellow Christmas bee ladies will be making one cartwheel, and one tree (or ornament) block.
And I hope they still like me at the end of my turn, because I need the blocks to be 22 1/2" !!! (sorry ladies!)
I'm using Fun Christmasy prints, and some white Kona Crush for the cartwheels -- and random fun Christmasy prints for the tree blocks (sashed in white).
I think it's going to be fabulous.
---------------------------
To enter the giveaway:
- Be a follower and leave a comment (one entry/person please).
- I like fun comments... just saying...I haven't decided yet if I'm going to pick at random or not...maybe tell me about Christmas... or pointers for camping with a baby...or what you'd make with these...or what you're working on...or...
----------------------
I joined another group *gulp*
The Hoop Up swap. For embroidery.
Here's my inspiration mosaic -- vintage ornaments. It's also going to be fabulous.
---------------
I'll also be putting my I-spy fabrics in the mail (hope you don't mind I'm sending 11 different prints Stephanie!)
Can't you hear little babes all over the world now... "I spy a Winnebago."
*New followers are of course welcome... but as always, only if you actually like it here. :)
* Giveaway will close next Monday
* I'm thinking about hosting a quilt-along...more on that to come. :)

Congrats on your milestone. I follow your blog in my google reader account. Such beautiful fabric.
Love the fabrics. I just started collecting fabric for an I-Spy quilt also.
300 peeps is nothing to sneeze at...ahhhhaaaa...chooo!! Thanks for the chance to win this lovely fabric...and of course I am a follower!! Have a good one!
Paulette
I don't think there will be a cuter I-spy quilt around when you are finished with that baby ~ such cute fabrics! I love the drawing of your Christmas quilt and your inspiration photos. Thanks for sharing how you work. It's so fun to see how ideas develop start to finsih!
Hi Tracey,
I feel like we are old friends now that we have read (and followed) eachother's blogs for a month or two. LOL Cute idea for your bee, and sweet of you to share with us. I am so intrigued by the quilt along. I hope my plate isn't too full when you have it. Sounds fun!
Oh you know I LOVE the fabrics you chose for the BEE and the blocks you decided on are going to be GREAT!!! Can't wait to learn how to do that cartwheel...are you going to assign each of us a specific tree to make?
Love the Winnebago--how stinking cute!! I would love to get my hands on some of that fabric!
300 peeps?! Wowzers!
The I Spy fabrics are so cute. I laughed out loud at the Winnebago...when I was about 8 we rented a "mini-Winne" for a camping trip. Funny, what we remember and what prompts memories!
Hey, we are looking at a 1928 house...been thinking about all the places I could use 30's feedsacks. Heaven!
Yeah! I follow your blog (manually), that is I read it consistently. We live in a world of automatic updates now, it is nice to stop and consider doing things by HAND (or sewing machines are OK). Your Christmas fabrics are bright and cheery, hope your Christmas quilt turns out beautiful!
Congrats on your 300 peeps. I am very happy that I am one of your peeps. So how do you get involved in all of the bees, swaps, and such? I keep reading about them and they sound so fun but how do you get started in them? Also, I would love it if you did a quilt-a-long. I am just about to finish one with Amy at Amy's Creative Side (a Christmas quilt also :) and it would be awesome to move right into a new one :) And your quilt designs are just amazing so I know whatever we created would just be awesome! Okay, so I am reading my comment back and it is rambling on a bit. Sorry :) Have a great day and I will be watching for the quilt-a-long :) Happy Quilting!
Oh my!! I love your bee blocks. If I win, I just might have to make something similar!! You have really cute Christmasy fabric for this give away. Please, please, please, I would really love to win.
Have a God Filled Day
Shirley
Congrats. I really enjoy your blog. And I think a quilt-along would be great!!!!
Thanks for the giveaway!! So cute
You really should host a quilt-a-long!
I'm so psyched about all the Christmas fabrics coming out! I already have my hand one, and I can't stop my love for it.
I'm digging those ornaments you have up there. I LOVE glass balls on a tree :)
Ooh, have you seen this Christmas tree skirt pattern? http://www.flickr.com/photos/35289170@N06/4150203148/
I'm collecting fabric to make one, so I would put these to good use! I love the plan for your Christmas bee quilt! Can't wait to see this one come together.
P.S. Quiltalong? Yes, please!
I like those fabrics they are very cute. Right now I am working on two new quilts. One for my daughter and one for a christmas present haven't figured out who is going to get it yet. Right now the thought is to make one for each family on our list we will see how far I get though. Wish me luck. :) As for camping with a baby I have been to afraid to do it yet.
Hi, Tracey! I noticed you didn't mention when you would draw for your 13 fat quarters, but did you notice that this Friday is Friday the 13th? Sounds like a prime time..... I love Christmas, but my husband is so worried that I will start decorating (or leave it up all year!) that he won't let me start decorating until after Thanksgiving dinner! So I never get as many decorations up as I'd like before it's time to take them down again..... It would be really neat to have a new Christmas quilt made from your lovely fabrics - and a new quiltalong might be the perfect way to use them!
Would love a quilt along!! I am so addicted to these! Great giveaway too by the way. Love all that xmas fabric.
I don't have any tips for camping with a baby, except bug spray is hugely important.
Love your blog!

Camping with a baby... That sounds so scary to me, but we were just talking about that not long ago.... There's a campsite near us where military can rent cabins for super low prices (I know, not the same!) but we might do that soon. I'm not brave enough for two kiddos in a tent just yet, especially not after that poor boy went missing.
You reminded me I keep meaning to get out all my embroidery thread so I can check out what all I have (for that possible swap if you are still interested)! I have to dig out all the baby bedding and blankets to be washed, so I will do that sometime this week!
Im sweatin' bullets. These blocks are gonna be tough ones!
I like your pattern. And inspiration with the ornaments - some of those remind me of the Christmas ornaments I made and put on my tree. The first year that I had my own tree, I wanted it be full of memories, but those of course take time to build. So I bought some plain glass balls at Big Lots and got a paint pen and designed my own. They turned out great! so I was still able to have a personalized tree (and didn't have to spend a bunch of $$) Here are some pics of the ornaments http://photojenn.shutterfly.com/8
I've really enjoyed your blog since I became a follower a couple of months ago! Congrats on the 300 milestone! I can't believe how many bees and swaps you are doing!! I'm in 4 right now and I think that's all I can handle for now. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would make some fun table runners with these prints and give them to my friends. A baby quilt might be cute too...
i would love to make a christmas quilt with those fabrics!
joonzeboo(at)gmail(dot)com
Do you have any more of that Winnebago print? This is NOT a contest entry. Skip me if I get picked!
I am following through my RSS feed. I want you to know, I don't follow just for give aways, I follow because I like the blog and the person writing. I like your description of yourself and have visited a few times. I enjoy your blog. Thanks so much. I love your fabrics...both the I Spy and the others. The others remind me of the Designer Block of the Month Mystery at the Fat Quarter Shop. Have you seen that? I have started on those blocks. Interestingly, they are of the same color scheme as a quilt I planned last year (and what you've got going here). I am really into that color scheme right now.
Hmmm...we went camping with our baby a few times. The most fun was that my husband and I zip our sleeping bags together (and I made a nice flannel sheet to line it top and bottom) to keep warm. We plunked the baby down between us and she was warm as toast all night! Kept us warmer, too!
I just came across you because of quiltblogs. Hello. I'm eager to show myself around. Something funny about Christmas. We always cook a bit leas food than we need so everyone goes home on time and doesn't linger eating more and more. Just kidding I had no idea what to write. Congrats on 300.
I love what you do with fabric... At first thought of your post I thought we were getting the Easter candy "Peeps" but I would much rather have fabric as the "Peeps" aren't exactly in my diet. I'm following you now!
Lets see... camping with a baby. The only experience I have is when I was little. But I do however bring my ferrets camping and they have the mentality of a two year old :). All I can say is bring extra of everything important and prepare for the worst. If they can eat it or get into it, they will. A playpen is a must.
I'm a newbie and have had so much fun looking at what I've been missing out on! Great quilts! I think a quilt-along would be great and of course lots of fun. Great fabrics - doesn't seem possible that Christmas is so close already.
300 peeps is awesome. Way to go! Those I-Spy blocks are pretty. I am in an I-Spy swap too. The fabrics are beautiful. Sure wish I was in your BEE block swap.
I've been a follower via google reader for months now. I would love to see a quiltalong on the blog! I don't think I would have time to participate, but I love seeing those unfold! Now for quilting-related randomness, I recently went to the live Marshall Dry Goods store and scored like 20 yards of fabric, including lots of brand name stuff, for $50. It was completely amazing. I highly recommend it!
Love the sketch for your Christmas project! I think the large scale will showcase the prints nicely. :)
It's my turn. I've been patient, polite, and quiet to date, but darn-it all - it's my turn to win.
All those other people are very important but it's my turn.
I've followed you since I started blogging ... thank you very much! As for camping with a baby? Are you nuts?!?! Okay, so that wasn't my cuppa tea, but best wishes for a good trip ... camping at Christmas time, :) well maybe in a trailer and a promised sighting of Santa in the Northern Skies ... Congrats on the milestone!!
I love these Christmas fabrics, specifically the different colored trees on the white background:) You are so awesome for doing this giveaway:P
Howdy! I follow in google reader, but I made myself 303 today! congrats that's no small feat. I can only imagine being so amazing people wanted to follow me. As for something witty to make you pick me as the winner of your fabric. I am an auditor, I used to work at the State Capitol building in Utah. One day I popped some microwave popcorn. It went terribly wrong, started a small fire, and in my hurry to get it out the building I parked the smoking microwave under the governors office window... one thing let to another there was a storming of my office by the highway patrol for an alleged "threat"... i had to dig the burnt bag out of the garbage can to defend myself. So you'll see I need cute christmas fabric to overcome my shame :) and to make stinking cute christmas presents for my friends.
Thanks for the great ideas! I love see your blog posts ;)
I just found you through your post on jaybird quilts. I'll have to take some time and look around. I love finding new quilt bloggers to get fresh ideas.
300 FOLLOWERS! WOW! I can't remember--Have you been contacted by Accuquilt go! yet? that seems to be the magic number!
thanks for the giveaway!
So after your last post about Christmas fabric, I bought some of my own. We are apparently bad influences on each other in the fabric addiction department! But I would love to supplement my Christmas fabrics (and further feed the addiction) by winning your giveaway! Congrats on 300 followers...I'm happy to be one of them :)
When I saw the fabric with the Christmas trees, I thought about the year my daughter was 2. She laid under our tree and our kitten ran up the tree and it fell over on top of her!!! What a sight!!
Congrats on 300 peeps. I'm glad I found you and your blog a couple months back.
I LOVE your design and your fabrics for your Chirstmas quilt. I really hope your bee still loves you because I can only imagine how fabulous the end result will be.
All those yummy Christmas fabrics are to die for! I would be so lucky to win them :o)
Christmas is my all time favorite time of the year. We decorate every inch of our house which is why we have so many plastic containers. I keep telling my husband that. He just shakes his head. We have a tradition of riding the train in
Stanley Park which we have been doing faithfully every year for 30 years. Oh my that is a while.
Woww!!! Over 300 followers! How great is that??
I love love those Christmas fabrics! I've been collecting some funky Christmas fabric for a wall hanging I've wanted to make for a long time now. It has cute little paper pieced trees. It will be my first real experience with paper piecing, so I'm a little nervous.
I enjoy seeing your creations on your blog. My taste in fabrics and style is very similar, so I find your photos inspiring!
Thanks for sharing your goodies, and giving us all a chance to win them!
I actually just camped with a baby! He is 6mths and we spent 3 nights at a state park. The travel crib (pack-n-play) thing worked really well as a bed. And he napped (with me) in a hammock while his dad fished. We had fun.
You know I'm a newbie but am trying to collect some fabric & stuff!! Just sayin!!
I keep stumbling upon your blog so I've finally become a follower :). As for camping with a baby, well, I just haven't even tried! It's hard enough to camp with my husband. Good luck!
Oh I'd love to win! Congrats on 300. :) I'm a follower of course.
Camping with babies - go into it expecting for them to eat dirt. Lots of it. Speaking from experience - it won't hurt them. Though it makes diaper changing an interesting experience!
Just became a follower....lovin' the fabrics - I would use them in my All About Christmas Swap - I'm thinking scrappy but it just gets spendy buying bits of different fabrics.
Camping with a baby? My advice - Fisher price little people are dishwasher safe. My kiddos loved playing with them and when we got home, I just popped them in the dishwasher.
Very cute bee blocks.
I love, love, love Christmas. Love the smells, the food, music, holiday movies, decorations. But mostly I love spending time with family and friends during the holidays. I also love to snuggle in a nice quilt and read a holiday book.

Tracy, Your fabric choices are Sooo fun!! I have an addiction to the tree prints cant get enough.
I am jelous of the farmers wife thing I would love to live in a small town but hubby would loose his mind. Oh well..
Thank you for the wonderful fabric give away!!!
Your Christmas design is looking good :)

I love Christmas! I want to make a Christmas quilt, but I haven't decided on a pattern or fabric yet! I am a follower too! :)
Yea, city country girl with the baby boy with the funny name, I'm one of your 300 peeps. I love your blog and your quilts. I'd just love to make some more table runners from this bright Christmas fabric. I'm sure I could find a place for a few more somewhere in this miniature house I live in that is piled to the ceiling with quilts and fabric.
I'm loving that Tufted Tweets fabric right now! Congrats on 300! I follow you on Google Reader!
Not sure if it's fair that I post here for an entry ???
I'm a follower. If I win I will make new placemats for Christmas. Congrats!!!
wow those fabrics are amazing and would fit into my queen size Christmas flying geese quilt. (it has been in the making for about 2 years now there are 960 units to the quilt) It's fun to see your projects they give me so many ideas.
I'll tell ya a story about Christmas. Not only am I an only child, but both of my parents are also so that means, when I was younger (a lot younger), I was SPOILED by both sets of Grandparents. They would come over Christmas Eve (my dad's parents and my mom's dad - divorced) and they would be walking up the stairs with A LOAD of presents and I would "HELP" distribute the presents by putting all of mine together in a pile just so I could see how many I got...Hey, what can I say, I was young at the time....Now a days, I love being the one to shower the ones I love with heart felt, thoughtful gifts....Okay, now I'm starting to write a novel....so buh-bye
OK this fabric puts me in the Christmas Spirit. I love your design for your Christmas quilt with the trees and ornaments! How about a tutorial for that? We prepared our grandchildren for camping by putting up a tent in our backyard! After a few nights of that they were excited to do the real thing!
wow, great post...lemme see, first off, I am a follower not because I like it here (I sorta love it here - thanks for keeping it real Tracey, you're wonderful), your Christmas quilt is going to be amazing and HUGE!!, my fav I-spy is the toaster fabric, that's a hoot. And what else, Hoop Up, yes - great inspiration mosaic!!! There's so much I love about Christmas that would require a 2000 word essay and I think you're going to have enough comments to get through without having to read that...we'll talk.
super fun fabric for some awesome bee blocks! I'm really looking forward to seeing the end result! Your I-Spy blocks are really cute too! :) I've been following your blog for a while & am grateful for the inspiration! :)
Hi Tracy, I just jumped in to be a follower! I love your fabric. It appears your peeps are increasing - how cool for you!!
I love your quilt design. That will be really beautiful.
I am a follower and I just love the Christmas Season. It is such a great time to share gifts with one another. I have been incorporating handmade into Christmas for about 3 years now and love it!!
Awesome fabric!! I just love your blog and you've kept me inspired this year to work on sewing projects I've had forever! I'm currently working on some paper piecing block to add to my Block of the Month quilt...but my biggest accomplishment is finishing cutting pieces for my son's quilt which I have had for close to 3 years (super big *gulp*!). But now I can start sewing and I'm so excited! As for camping with a baby...take lots of bug spray and activities. This year we took our son's water table and it kept him entertained and cooled off. It was great! Good luck!
I'm already a follower...and although I'm only still on my first quilt, I'm absolutely inspired by looking at all of the amazing quilts you make. Would love to use this fabric to make a Christmas quilt. {Better start now, so it get's FINISHED by Christmas!} :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I am a follower! I hope to have 300 hundred followers some day, but I need to find time to sew so that they have something to follow.
Camping with a baby...don't do it. Actually, don't camp with me and then you can take whoever you want, LOL!
Well, I'm a new follower. I am actually working on a quilted Christmas Tree Skirt, my first ever, and I can tell I'm going to want to make more, more, more! Look out family, my obsession will become part of your decorating tradition (at least when I'm coming to visit you on that particular Christmas!). But in order to satisfy my new craving, I need more Christmas fabrics. These would fit the bill PERFECTLY! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
So funny I am wanting to make a christmas quilt and this is great!
I've enjoyed reading your blog since I saw Steiger's quilt a few months ago, but I didn't start following until recently. Camping with a baby? My sister camped in yurts with her daughter when she was under 2 and seemed to really like it. I think she said most of the yurts in Oregon have hot water showers available.
love your design! i'm currently working on 4 christmas quilts. :)
Yeah on 300! I am a follower who loves your blog and all your projects.
This fabric is wonderous and it would match the little collection of MMiller christmas prints that I have been hoarding from last year.
Your Christmas quilt is going to look great. Those fabrics are yummy. I hope your camping works out. I don't think its for me but what an adventure. Camping takes you back to the basics doesn't it, simpler times. Enjoy the break. I am happy I can be one of your peeps.
Congratulations on reaching 300 - of which I am a google follower! The fabric is wonderful and so are you for thinking of others with this giveaway. Thanks.
Congratulations on reaching 300. I love the variety of Christmas fabrics. Are they one line? I never seem to be able to find such cute things. I love that the newer Christmas fabrics are not all the traditional red & greens.
Oooh, they are cute! They'd definately be for my Christmas tree quilt (an Alex pattern, maderny and fun - needs the bright, cheery colors). Thank you!
I've been lurking for awhile! I am always inspired by your quilts! I'm trying to get back into quilting and always seeking inspiration!
Hmmm...fun comment about Christmas...one year my cousins and I did gag gifts at Thanksgiving and real gifts at Christmas. My cousin John got a bunch of jokes about "sitting on the john," bathroom reader style. It was pretty classic.
thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful reason for a giveaway. If I was lucky enough to win I would make a rectangle table runner for my kitchen table.
Congrats on the big 300 :) I've been a follower for a while now. My allergy to gluten and tape (wheat based) are the "norm" at our house. Last Christmas we hosted my parents and brother's family at our home for several days. I had to brainstorm a bit to figure out how to gift wrap presents and how to request all presents be wrapped in order to avoid my allergy with my hands. I had assigned each guest with a color of fabric from my stash. I was red, Grandma was blue....etc. And each person wrapped their gifts for the person in that person's specific color. THe gifts were then wrapped in ribbon and no tape needed. It really worked well. Grandpa forgot what color he was to be opening half way through the gift exchange, so next year, he is simply going to be "plaid!" My two year old son could have cared less about any of the presents. Flopping around in a laundry basket full of fabric was his thrill for the entire holiday. I was tickled, as somehow every piece of fabric was folded and my stash never looked so organized :) Good thing Christmas happens every year. I need some tidying up :)
i am not a new follower i am quite long time follower.i am new to quilting, please make something easy to follow fort the quilt-along.
thank you: mikthasq(at)gmail(dot)com
It's just amazing the things that we can all do. Maybe we need to change the day into 42 hours instead.....we would have more sewing time...but that wouldn't work either. Just a little at a time and we will all get through it. The fabric is lovely and you have some very lucky swap partners. Good luck with it all.
Nancy
Ack! Great christmas combo!!! I need a new tree skirt. A patchwork one with these colors would be perfect!
Congrats on the mielstone too! As far as camping with a baby, bring the pack-n-play. A cage is nice when your trying to put up a tent. Also bring the sand box toys and wet wipes. Mine always want to eat/dig/bathe in the rocks and dirt.
Congratulations that is so cool! Those are so begging to made into a mini Dresden Plate Tree skirt!! Or like the one you designed with the happy Stars. The Winnebago is awesome!
um, "I spy a Winnebago" equals pure awesomeness. Pure unabashed awesomeness! Also, I am totally convinced that you can't go wrong with things in 13's.
So my very favorite Christmas tradition ever: We were very poor when I was a little girl. Like, ridiculously poor. And although I never really realized it at the time, looking back my heart breaks for my mom. There were many years that we didn't put up a Christmas tree until Christmas Eve. We would go first thing in the morning to a local Christmas lot. Me and my two sisters all bundled up in last year's warmest clothes and so excited we could hardly function. We'd go on Christmas Eve because the Christmas Tree man would usually give us a tree for free, usually a spindly straggler, but in my mind it was the perfect thing. And we would take it home and wrap it with lots of tiny white lights. And we'd spend the day baking gingerbread boys, and stringing popcorn to decorate it. We'd use last year's candy canes and some clothespin soldiers my mom had painted years earlier and we would spend all day making that tree just perfect. Then we'd tuck a few gingerbread boys underneath for Santa and go to sleep with visions of sugarplums and Christmas morning.
Although I dream of a beautiful Martha Stewart Christmas tree, I keep going back to a small scraggly tree, decorated with popcorn garlands and gingerbread boys. It is one of the things I look forward to most about Christmas. It feels like home.
Hey doll, new peep in town!! Yay!!!! Loving the fabric for reals!Oh and um you wanna camp with your baby??? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember what happened to that lady?? The dingo?? NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, seriously, camping with babies can be hard and not much fun.Great giveaway!!! Come enter my giveaway! It's for a travelocity hotel card 100 bucks! You can stay at a hotel instead! HA!jacksoncrisman@yahoo.com
Fun post? Or pathetic? I met a fellow stay at home mom today. We were having a nice chat then she mentioned how staying at home sometimes makes her depressed. I mentioned how I took up sewing and quilting. Well let me tell you...I think as I said those words a large creature must have crawled unto my head because her eyes grew three sizes and she made a run for it.
That's my story for the day. Happy 300 peeps day!
I'm looking forward to making a holiday banner for my first married christmas with some of those fabrics!
Love the blog and the fabric, can't wait for a quilt-along. 300 peeps!!! Here's to 300 more.
Tracey Jay...Wow! You are just the most energetic Mom! I think when my girls were small, I may have washed their quilts a time or two but hardly made one :) I love I SPY quilts and I recognize so many of those fun fabrics! I do follow your blog, and am always happy when you leave me a comment...happiness! I want to join your quilt=along whatever it is! xo Pam in Chico
Hi,
I can't write fun comments, because my english is too bad.
I like your christmas fabrics .
I would like to sew a tablerunner with it.
Best wishes from germany
Gaby
I'm totally a follower!
I think, with that adorable christmas fabric, I'd make a snazzy table runner so I can show it off the whole season! :D
Congrats on 300 peeps! I so enjoy your blog and know that all 299 other peeps enjoy it too! I LOVE your chubby stars, I posted one on your Flickr group a while back. I have been so busy I haven't had time to make more but I am very tempted to join your quilt along! I am going on vacation soon so I might miss some but can always get caught up when I get back :)
Congrats. I have been a follower for a long time. I love christmas fabric and your bee blocks look great.
When my youngest daughter was about 13 months old we went camping for a week with her. The best thing we had with us was her bouncy saucer. It was a clean place for her to eat and it allowed her to be with us during campfires and I wasn't worried about her getting hurt. Have fun camping, it has always been one of my favorites thing to do.
Brenda
Congrats on your milestone! LOL! I just looked over and that's *exactly* what your first comment says! Ah well, that's my sentiment and I'm sticking to it. :) Of course I'm a follower! You are inspirational! :)
