It inspired me, and I'm giving away a Dresden plate pillow cover!
Here's one I'm currently working on (you can ask for this one if you're the winner... It's made in Anna Maria Horner's Little Folks voile, on a linen-blend base)
Here's another one I recently completed, (for sale here), showing what can be done with a more limited palette.

What a great pillow (and blog!) to answer your questions, Dresden or custom is fine, I love black dark reds (for base and other) and I am in awe of quilters! These are beautiful. I think the Little Folks is just perfect and love the reds. If I was being picky I would choose a white cotton for the base color. I am re doing my bedroom in reds and blues so you have inspired me with these pillows!
