all I want to do.

Pin It She really is quite charming.
And time consuming.

Scarlet's quilt

Last week, at her three month appointment, she was coming in at thirteen pounds.  What I'd like to know though is, if I am responsible for all thirteen pounds of her, then why haven't I lost that myself???

I'm also really excited to cut in to this pretty bundle...

Big plans for this I have...

I've been a fan of French General since its inaugural line, the first Rouenneries (and Amanda can attest to my "healthy" French General stash)... I'm stalking Fat Quarter Shop for them to post their yardage.  This will be my first dabbling in real pattern writing (if I can figure out how to make it work)... I've done the test blocks, and am hoping to get this thing whipped out (which depends entirely on the darling pictured above) and written in to a pattern.  I'm also hoping to be able to access some of my pre-children intelligence to get this all explained and diagrammed... you know, because children really do steal our brain power. :)

Happy Tuesday!

What a cutie pie! I can see why you have been struggling to get some stuff done :)

I don't see how you get anything done with that cute little face around. I love the French General too.

What a peach she is! Sending big, soft cyberhugs!

How do you get anything done with this happy baby to play with!??

Love the fabrics!

Take care.

At 3 months of Caleb's birth, I was starting to GAIN weight!! Not a very happy camper, because he was over 17 pounds then. My theory is the more the baby weighs, the more panicky the mother's body gets to make more milk. :P

I'm not sure how you get anything done. I'd spend most of my day blowing raspberries on that belly.

She's such a cutie! I'd have a hard time working with her around, too - but I can't wait to see your French General quilt!

I love the French General too! I have a jelly roll that is calling my name...

I actually wondered if I was not cool because it really isn't "modern", if you know what I mean ;)!

And any time you want to ship her in a box to Houston, let me know...

And I won't stop asking/hinting if you keep posting pictures of her ;)!

Oh my gosh, she has the cutest little cleft in her chin! I'm sure you'll make something a-mazing with the Rouenneries fabric! I've been saving my pennies for when the yardage comes out. I've been hoarding some of the original pre-cuts, and they need some yardage to keep them company.
