On Sunday, I made a "year ago today" post...
Well... a year ago today, I started blogging again.
So it's my quilting bloggiversary! :)
But we're waiting until tomorrow (fingers crossed) to celebrate.
Remember this from last week? So I might have gone a little overboard... like 88 times overboard (the original quilt calls for 80 blocks).
I stayed up late last night to finish the blocks and get them layed out on the floor while the baby was sleeping.
Hoping against hope I can get all 14 rows joined, and have something to show you...
...stay tuned for a belated bloggiversary celebration! (and a followers appreciation too... and as soon as I hear back from AccuQuilt, a Go! giveaway) :)
P.S. I was at JoAnn's last night... and the Go! cutters were one sale from $349 to $249! That's quite a discount on something that (almost) never goes on sale!
Those blocks look great there all together. Congrats on your blogiversary
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs Gina xxx
Congrats on your bloggiversary!!! And those blocks are beautiful!! I can't believe you made it 144 squares large! That will be stunning when it is finished!!
ReplyDeleteYour FQly quiltalong blocks are so pretty! For some reason, when I finished piecing all mine, I only had 77, so I have altered things a bit and added some skinny white sashing to keep it on the bigger size.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all of the celebrations. You know I'll be here...just waiting to enter!!
Wow. Took just one year to get over 400 followers? You must be pretty proud of yourself!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this! You make the most beautiful quilts! And congratulations on your bloggiversary. :)

Can I tell you how jealous I am that you own a pink cutting mat? Yeah.... jealous.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 'Bloggiversary'...may there follow many more!!!
ReplyDeleteYour Nicey Jane quilt promises to be beautiful! Now should seriously consider cutting in my NJ stash...after all, it's NICER to have something made out of this fabric rather than just staring at the folded stack :).
The colors in the quilt are so cheery. Congrats on your bloggiversary. the internet quilting community is amazing!

ReplyDeleteMy quilt like this was 100 blocks - 10 x 10. It came out a great size, and was easy to quilt on my domestic machine. I love the colors in your quilt!! Happy blogiversary!!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, seeing all those beautiful squares so perfectly lined up makes me really happy. Ah, order, how I crave you :). lol
