Bloggers' Quilt Festival!





It's time for the Blogger's Quilt Festival! :)

This is Steiger... on Steiger's quilt.  (You can also see his cuteness in my header).

You've seen this before.  
And can see some of the process here.


The sashing is Kona Chocolate.  The Fabrics are mostly by Amy Schimler (Animal Party and Forest Fun).
I picked some random tonals to complement the focal fabrics. 
Natalia quilted circles all over it... (I was too afraid of the minky backing)



The blocks were modified from a pattern called "Box Step"  (which I can't find a link to at the moment)

This is a picture of him I took yesterday!  I can't believe he's getting so big!

*sigh*  I wish we were all going to Market...

  3. This is a super cute boy quilt! Wonderful finish.

    I've quilted with minkee(no batting) and straight line quilting is what I use. I would be afraid of free motion too!
