This quilt top is destined for my God-sister, as a gift for her college graduation.
I like it, but -- like always, am stuck on how to quilt it.
I really prefer piecing to quilting I think.
Right now I'm thinking of an echo or free motion loops in the negative space, and then a little straight line with black on the black stars???
Oh, stop obsessing and just quilt it like Janet quilted mine ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the solids, especially the stars formed by the white. She'll love it!
Couldn't believe Krista had already commented, I was thinking you could quilt it the same way!LOL! It looks fabulous - any which way you decide to quilt it, it will still look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat is so striking in solids. I especially love the black with the pastels.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt. Love the large scale blocks.
ReplyDeleteIt's striking. I love it. :) And I have no idea how to quilt it either. :(
ReplyDeletePretty, and it matches the sky so well!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteJaw dropping! Your own pattern? I want to make it!
ReplyDeleteWow, the design is to vivid and specifically in place. I love it! I bet your sister will really love and treasure it for life! That is very sweet of you! Is that you on the back of the quilt? I find the photo funny coz only your feet are visible on the photo.
